★★★★★

I used to work 70 hours a week at a construction job that left me stressed out, overworked, and sometimes flat out depressed. Despite working so much I barely made enough money to pay the bills let alone have anything left over for vacations or even taking my wife on a date night. But then I discovered a side hustle that changed my life forever... Rock Chip Repair. In the beginning I made way too many mistakes, but eventually I figured it out and now I'm here to teach you everything I know!

FAQ

Is Now a Good Time to Start a Rock Chip Repair Shop?

Yes! With the cost of windshield replacements being at an all-time high and only continuing to skyrocket, due to cameras and sensors needing recalibrated with each new windshield, people are more desperate than ever to repair rock chips for a fraction of the cost and save their glass. With my own shop I have noticed over the years a sense of urgency and people wanting same day service because they are afraid of the rock chip spreading and costing them so much more.

How Much Money Does It Take to Run a Rock Chip Repair Shop?

Very little! The beautiful part of how I run my business and how I recommend others to do the same is being a mobile shop. By being mobile and going to your customer, you only accumulate expenses as you make money; namely just gas driving to and from jobs and refilling your supplies used during the repair process. In fact, I only spend approx. $100-$200 every time I reorder supplies, and that order will net me anywhere from $4,000 - $6,000 in profit.

How Much Work Does This Take?

On average a rock chip takes only 15-20 minutes to repair! For this I charge a minimum of $75. If someone has multiple rock chips it usually only adds on an additional 10 minutes of work, and you can charge anywhere from $25-$35+ for that additional repaired chip.
